As part of Lambeth active travel car free day event on Railton Road. Lambeth’s active travel team will celebrate Lambeth’s ambitious LTN roll out. Railton LTN has been identified as a well-established and supported LTN, and Railton Road has become an exemplary walking and cycling route between Brixton and Herne Hill. The road will be open as usual, to highlight how much a low traffic scenario decreases vehicular use. We will be closing a small section of Shakespeare Road and having cycle skills and street games there and will have a bike market on the green space at Hurst Street. InUse ReUse, were provided with the opportunity to support this initiative by utilising one of the suspended spaces with an adult size connect four game.
