Max Roach Extension Garden Bench

The Max Roach Garden bench extension is a backless 4-seater bench, build with durability in mind. With plenty of character, this design combines a two-tier height system to give a uniquely put together garden furniture. Made with multiple pallet planks jointed together this build is a must-have for your garden seating area. The Max Roach Garden Bench was named after Max Roach Park in Brixton South-West of London. The park itself was named after the legendary black American drummer Max Roach. How the park came about to be named after the drummer, Max Roach was from an initiative by then labour councillor Sharon Atkin. Set up in 1986 Sharon Aktin proposal that Lambeth Council name 27 sites within the borough after people of African descent to acknowledge their contribution.
